~Tea party of your dreams~

 Esto podría ser...  realmente corto, ja.  Miren, mi tea party soñada simplemente es una a la que asistan mis amigxs loleadxs y ya, soy un ser tan plano y soso que realmente no me preocupa mucho en que lugar sea o lo que comamos o así, más bien tengo una lista de cosas que NO deben pasar en mi tea party soñada, las cuales son:

This can be... really short, hehe. Look, my dream tea party is simply one attended by my friends wearing Lolita, that's all, I'm a completely monotone and insipid being who isn't really concerned about places or food or whatever, instead I have a list of things that SHOULDN'T ever happen in my dream tea party, which are:

• No lugares sin baño. Debe haber por lo menos dos baños accesibles por allí... :D por si se ofrece.
• No places without a bathroom. There must be at least two accessible bathrooms.... :D just in case. 

• No sitios sin opciones vegetarianas. Más de  una vez he incomodado a mis amigxs con mi manera de comer, y eso apesta muchísimo porque no es nuestra culpa (como vegetarianos) que no haya opciones para que yo coma a donde sea que vayamos. 
• No places without vegetarian options. More than once I've made my friends uncomfortable with my eating preferences, which annoys me so much because it's not our fault (as vegetarians) that there aren't options for us everywhere we go.

• No sitios hostiles o de mal servicio. Esto es self explanatory y ya ha habido demasiados casos con idioteces de discriminación o simplemente de estupidez por parte de los sitios donde uno asiste.
• No places with hostility or bad service. This is self explanatory and there has been too many discrimination cases or simply situations where we have stupidity from the staff of places we have been. 

• No sitios demasiado caros. Si un sitio es muy caro, no puede uno estar pidiendo comida o bebida constantemente, y eso puede hacer un poco incómoda la presencia por varias horas... por más que el sitio sea como Versalles o lo que sea. 
• Not extremely expensive places. If a place is extremely expensive, one can't order food or drinks constantly, which can make a long stay a little uncomfortable... no matter if the place looks like Versailles or whatever. 

Y así, that's all for today  :3 solo quiero que estén todxs y ya.

Devil Wears Prada!!

Some days ago, on Twitter, Dan was proposing a Devil wears Prada challenge, consisting on creating an outfit based on the following characters: Miranda, Andy, Nigel and Emily. Of course I think this is a super good idea, because I like that movie a lot and I like to make outfits as well he he he. I don't have enough clothing or enough good style to make this outfits for myself of course. So here I go, dear friends:

Hace unos días, en Twitter, Dan estaba planteando un reto de Devil wears Prada que consiste en crear un outfit basado en los siguientes personajes: Miranda, Andy, Nigel y Emily. Desde luego que me pareció super buena idea, por que me gusta mucho esa película y hacer outfits también ji ji. Yo no tengo suficiente ropa o suficiente estilo al vestir para hacer esto en mi persona, claro está. Así que aquí les va, amigos queridos:

The first one is Nigel, here I used this dress that I related to this outfit

El primero es Nigel, aquí usé este vestido, el cual relacioné con este outfit 

I also thought a lot about the glasses and shoes and I had a tough time thinking about what to add for hair, because he doesn't have... so I added a bow. I don't know why exactly but maybe it kinda would add some balance to the outfit, hopefully.

También pensé mucho en los lentes y el calzado y tuve mucha dificultad para pensar en que podría añadir en el cabello, ya que el no tiene... así que puse un moño. No sé exactamente porqué, pero creo que podría ser que tal vez añadiera un poco de balance al outfit, posiblemente.

Ahora, aquí está Andy.

I took this outfit as reference, I love her transformation from this "ugly duckling" to the amazing and fashion queen she became, but of course, at the end she understands clearly that unless you work in the fashion industry, your options wearing haute couture on daily basis are limited. So this outfit is really meaningful to me. I'm also happy that I was unable to find any argyle pattern for Lolita, because I truly dislike that pattern for clothing! hehe. Oh, and I also added the Chanel pendant because Chanel is a very important brand for reflecting her feelings!! Also I liked the beret to resemble the blue sweater. Those textures can work, but in different items of course. 

Tomé como referencia este outfit, me encanta su transformación de este "patito feo" a la hermosa y sorprendente reina de la moda en que se convirtió, pero desde luego, al final ella entiende con claridad que a menos que trabajes en la industria de la moda, tus opciones para usar haute couture en la vida diaria son muy limitadas. Así que este outfit significa mucho para mi. Además, me alegra mucho no haber podido encontrar ninguna prenda Lolita con patrón de rombos, por que realmente no me gusta mucho ese patrón en la ropa! jejeje. Ah, además añadí el dije de Chanel por que esta marca es muy importante para reflejar sus sentimientos! Y también puse el beret para hacer referencia al suéter azul. Texturas como esas pueden funcionar, pero en distintas cosas, claro está.

She is of course the absolute queen of this story.  So I had to give her a golden crown, but not a very obvious one tho. Also I chose this faux fur coat because she has to wear a coat to throw when she arrives, I picked this color of coat based on this outfit 

Ella es, desde luego, la reina absoluta de la historia. Así que tuve que ponerle una corona dorada, aunque no una demasiado evidente. También escogí este abrigo de piel falsa porque ella necesita un abrigo para arrojar cuando llega, escogí el color del abrigo basándome en este outfit

And the red shoes are of course red because of this

I also gave her many Chanel accesories, I think her character is quite like Karl Lagerfeld's  so Chanel also reminds me a lot of her. 

También le puse a ella varios accesorios de Chanel, creo que su personalidad es muy semejante a la de Karl Lagerfeld, así que Chanel también me recuerda mucho a ella.

Everything but the skirt and eyeshadow is from Vivienne Westwood, like in the movie all Emily's wardrobe was.

Todo excepto la falda y la sombra para ojos es de Vivienne Westwood, así como en la película fue todo el guardarropa de Emily. 

 I tried to match this outfit with the ring I picked here. I also chose this eyeshadow palette because I know many people, like me, adored this makeup 

Traté de asemejar este outfit con el anillo que escogí en el mío. Además, escogí esta paleta de sombras para ojos porque se que mucha gente, al igual que yo, adoró este maquillaje:
